This is a quick release CR-Scan 01 handle that clips on and off to the tripod so that the handle can remain permanently attached to the scanner. This allows you to be able to go from turntable scanning to manual scanning easily and quickly. You will need to get a Jubaopen Camera Adapter Screw 1/4 - 3/8 for the tripod mounting block that are available on Amazon and eBay. When fitting the Jubaopen Camera Adapter Screw that will self tap into the tripod mounting block, fit the existing screw provided into the adaptor so you can screw the Jubaopen in with a screwdriver. The scanner comes with a screw for the insert that is used to keep the handle permanently attached to the scanner. UPDATE I have added a phone mount adaptor so you can if you wish share your computer screen when scanning to monitor scanning results using a screen share App. 1/4 Ball Head Mounts for mounting phone are available on Amazon.
