[CR10] Basic Prometheus V2 Hotend Mount

[CR10] Basic Prometheus V2 Hotend Mount

thingiverse

This is a mount for the CR10 which I made based off of the standard E3D v6 mount. The normal E3D mount does not work with the Prometheus V2 hotend, so I took a bunch of measurements and created this file in Fusion 360 (with a hobbyist's license). If you have a working printer, this will print and be a snug fit: I printed this with my hot end being held on by a zip-tie (basically, if there is a will there is a way). I have attached a picture of the final product, and the screws that I used for the mounting. The M3-0.5x10 screws were used to hold the back plate to the frame, and the sheet metal screws are used to hold the clamping piece to the back plate.
