CR10 Standalone Beastmod (with SKR 1.3 or Mini E3) 1: Why all that? First of all, i really, really hate printers with an external control box. Also, when all my eleven printers are printing, it would bzzztbzzzt really loud in my printing room. Stepper-Damper just help a little bit, but still not enough. Thats why ive bought a few SKR Mini E3 Boards for my two Ender 3 and my two CR10. Ive used a few parts from other Thingiverse-Users (sometimes modified), also the mod is tested. All parts do fit without a problem. After the mod your printer will be silent, without a controll box and will even be stiffer then before. 2: Things you need to print Please refer to the uploaded files. If you are using the SKR 1.3 just print Board_Box_SKR1.3, if you are using a Mini E3 you also need to Print Board_Adapter_1_SKR_MINI and Board_Adapter_2_SKR_MINI. Maybe you have to do some afterworks on the Cableholes on the Boardholder. Just place everything like i did in the pictures. 3: Things you need to buy Must have: a) A lot of M3 and M4 Bolts and Nuts, T-Head-Nuts for M3 and M4 b) 2x 60cm M8 rod for the braced c) SKR Mini E3 or SKR 1.3 d) Good Fans from Sunon or Noctua (1x 40x10 for Hotend, 1x 40x40 for MOSFET, 1x 50mm for Boardcooling) e) 12V LED-Stripe f) JST Plugs for the Fans and LEDs g) A desired MOSFET for the heated Bed h) 50cm 10 Pin LCD Cable Optional: a) Stepper-Dampers b) Silicone-Pillars for the Bed c) Armaflex-Plate for the Bed 4: HowTo Pretty much just do the same as described here: https://letsprint3d.net/how-to-install-the-skr-mini-e3-board-ender-3/ Also see the one picture in the files for additional wiring. You can use the firmware.bin from the files. Ive compiled them to work with the CR10. To flash the Board just load the file onto a SD-Card, put it in the Printer and wait till the board stops flashing and booting. After this you can delete all the files on the card and start printing.
