CR2032 Coin Battery Holder

thingiverse

This coin cell battery holder uses a minimal amount of filament to store CR2032 batteries. The batteries snap into place and will remain in the container even when held upside down. There's a thumb slot to help remove the batteries, and an engraving of the battery type on the side to serve as a quick reminder. The default design stores 10 batteries, but the OpenSCAD code is included and very easy to customize the number of slots you'd prefer. Recommended material is PLA as it gives the flexibility to allow the batteries to snap into place. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: high Infill: 20% Notes: PLA filament recommended How I Designed This OpenSCAD This battery holder was designed in OpenSCAD. The code is meant to be easily modified to allow for a different number of battery slots by simply modifying the "slots" variable. The width and thickness of each slot can also be easily modified in order to build the same holder for a different battery type. There's a small lip on one side that produces the snapping effect.
