Craftbot Flow Filament Tube Holder

Craftbot Flow Filament Tube Holder

On the Craftbot Flow the filament tube easily slips off Craftbot's metal mounting bracket. Further, the original filament entry is rather tight and edgy, producing inconvenience and additional drag. My custom Craftbot Flow filament tube holder firmly clamps the filament tube and provides a smooth filament entry. It is an improvement over my earlier design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5353654 The screw is an M3 x 8 mm. I am using this new holder in conjunction with Waggster's brilliant spool mount https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4440926 and my ball bearing spool shaft with adjustable hub https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5369605 but it will also be useful when mounted simply on Craftbot Flow's metal enclosure. As always I include the OpenSCAD source file for you to improve or adapt. In case you want to modify it: - Download and install OpenSCAD from https://www.openscad.org - Launch OpenSCAD and open the enclosed OpenSCAD source file (/File/Open). - Amend the parameters at the top of the file and/or modify the source code. - Save your changes (/File/Save). - Render the design (/Design/Render). - Export the rendered design e.g. as a .stl file (/File/Export/Export as STL). - Slice and print.
