Craftsman 18V to PorterCable or BD Adapter

This is an adapter to allow me to use a Porter Cable 20v Li-Ion battery in my old Craftsman 18V NiCad drill. I am too cheap to throw away the old Craftsman drill even though the batteries no longer work and they would be too expensive to replace. I ended up with several "slide on" Porter Cable Li-Ion batteries so I designed this adapter. It allows me to use the old Craftsman drill without modifying the drill itself. You will need: 1. The printed adapter 2. One old Craftsman battery to sacrifice for the; A. Contacts B. Top plastic shell C. Screws D. Retention Clips (locking/release tabs) 3. Two springs approximately 3/4" long 4. Two bolts of your choice approximately 1.25" maybe 10-24 thread or 1/4-20 5. Two short pieces of insulated wire 6. Two pieces of metal for flat contacts. I use Hillman 1/2" stock 0.016" thick UPDATE: v15 has a slightly larger and deeper hole for the retention spring.
