Crayola-Compatible Marker Cap Author: Donald L. Merand What Is It? It's a cap for a Crayola-type marker. Perhaps you've lost one of those before? I certainly did. Printing I designed this model upside-down from the best print orientation. Sorry about that. It should print either way really, but you might have problems with it coming loose from your print bed printing it in the "default" orientation. I used MadeSolid PET+ here because you want something with a bit more flex than PLA, and ABS gives off carcinogenic fumes donchaknow. Errata I made two versions here. The one I use is the "3DP-Optimized" version, which is a bit squatter and has thicker walls than the original cap. This makes it a fair shake easier to 3d print. But the other version will fit in better with the other markers if you're worried about your new cap being ostracized from the bunch for being different. If for some reason you're inclined to fiddle with the original models, they are up on Onshape, parametrically-designed and waiting for you.
