This idea is based on another piece of equipment I had fun with as a child and wanted to incorporate in something that would be as fun as the crazy cart. The inspirations for it are all laser based games that involve more than one player. the overall marketing effect would also mean that you would probably sell 2 or more of the things at one time. That equipment is laser guns and receivers. I think it would be an easy mod to add to the existing model as they are ideally components you could buy straight off the shelf, however I haven't figured out the exact wiring but don't expect it to be much hassle to wire in. The overall concept on this would be to have each car have 3 lives that once depleted by being shot would cause the car to shut down. Couldn't manage to get the light splash effects to look good from Photoshop so i think I will leave it as it is and go work on my object source lighting for another day! Design wise it was done by cutting in the shapes for the "guns" and then shaping them in place. then using that to set the height for the receivers and shape them in place before figuring out how they all can either be snapped into position or placed in between bolts. Again I really enjoyed using the assembly features in solid edge and am starting to get a hang of the animation features. Thanks for looking at my design and I hope you enjoy it.
