Lightweight prop guard / cage for Crazyflie 2.1 quadcopter intended to indoor flying. The entire assembly only weights 3.4 g, is quick & easy to print, fits on stock Crazyflie 2.1 and assembly takes only a few minutes, no clue required. Crazyflie decks, e.g. lighthouse positioning system and flow deck, are compatible with this cage. Please not that the primary purpose is to keep the props from touch walls and other objects during indoor flight. The shape should allow 'gliding' along obstacles instead of crashing. It does prevents some damage to the quadcopter in case of harder crashes, but don't expect too much in this regard. You need to print: - 1x bottom - 1x top - 12x pin (can be printed in one go) All parts: - 0.4 mm nozzle - PETG (at least that is what I used) - 100% infill Top and Bottom part: - 0.15 mm layer height Pins: - 0.10 mm layer height - Sequential printing of individual objects (PrusaSlicer: Print Settings -> Output options -> Sequential printing -> Complete individual objects)
