Cre8Audio NiftyCASE 19" Rack Ears

<p>I am low on desk space, but had a wall mounted sever rack that I am trying to fill. The Cre8Audio NiftyCASE was the right width minus the mounting hardware, so I made some. These rack ears are designed to replace the wood cheeks on the case and fit in a 19" rack.</p><p>There is one screw inside the case and 4 on the outside for each wood cheek. Remove the end wood completely and replace with these ears. The case is an odd height, so I added several holes for extra mounting options. The screw holes do not have much extra give, but can be bored out slightly if the fit is too tight. They worked for my case.</p><p>It may be a good idea to get right angled power barrel adapters and use right angled MIDI cables since the ports are on the top.</p><p>My NiftyCASE has been modified to add a passive and buffered mults at the top, and I spray painted it bronze-ish.
