1/7/2019 UPDATE: A warning from user fiftythree33 If you're using a spring steel bed or the stock creality mag surface your X gantry will strike the Z motor mount before the nozzle reaches the bed. About 1mm short of hitting the surface. There's enough meat there to shave off a couple mm to make it clear, I will post pictures with my make. ORIGINAL POST: I generally dislike any printed or plastic parts parts between my nozzle and x-carriage. The current Hemera adapter plates are too flimsy in my opinion. Directly mounting the Hemera to the 4 wheel carriage not only makes for a much more rigid setup but the extra wheel helps with the newly added weight. I was able to significantly lower my eccentric nut tension (x-carriage moves much easier and smoother now) without introducing slop (which I ran into with the standard 3 wheel carriage). You can find the exact carriage I used on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0823B9SP1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 NOTE: You will have to cut off or drill out the original hotend mounting studs on the carriage to make room for the Hemera. I chose to drill them out as it was the easiest and cleanest approach for me. The bolts and lock nuts for the wheels will even clear the x-axis end plates without modification. Additionally, the longer carriage plate means your x-axis endstop will work as is without smashing your hotend cooling fan.. From x-axis endstop trigger point to bed edge, the nozzle is 17mm. I added this offset into my slicer. I did lose a bit of max travel in the x-axis but not enough to outweigh the benefits (for me). I haven't measured but if I had to guess I'm limited to ~220mm now. The Hemera will need some sort of "spacer" between itself and the carriage to clear the wheel bolt heads. I used some over-sized nuts (M5 I think) but whatever you have on hand will probably work as long as they are thick enough and all equal. Definitely not an easy "print and install" type of mounting setup but chances are, if you bought a Hemera, you are already deep down this rabbit hole and will have no problem figuring it all out. Good luck!
