Creality CR-10S Pro High Flow Fan Duct

The design of the factory cooling duct on the CR-10S Pro is, to say politely, not very good. It touches the heater block, it has questionable geometry and it directs more flow over the nozzle body than it does over the printed part. I tried and tested many different designs available here, but I was left not completely satisfied. I wanted a simple, high flow duct that correctly aims the cooling air flow, has reasonably good aerodynamics, does not excessively back-pressure the fan, and has good clearances to the heater block and to the print bed. I designed this duct in Fusion 360 and used the design process to learn Fusion's lofting implementation. I created the model twice: first time it was a messy learning exercise, and the second time it was a clean parametric design. I adjusted this second design several times, and it will likely be tweaked some more. I already have some additional ideas for adding a smaller secondary cooling nozzle. Note that due to the design clearances, this duct is not very sensitive to heater block and nozzle height. In other words, while it was optimized for my setup with stock hot end and Microswiss nozzle, it should work well with all CR-10S Pro units. Please do not print this in PLA. Even though there is good clearance between the duct and the heater block, the thin walls at the duct exit will start distorting after several high temperature prints. PETG, however, seems to work very well for me. 2020-12-22: I uploaded a slightly revised version 1.4 of the model. It has a number of cosmetic tweaks and one functional change: it adjusts the flow direction slightly less downwards. I made this change after a number of flow evaluation checks with visualization tufts.
