2020-12-13, added a version 2 with support for the bowden tube. I guess could be called a remix of the remix? thing:4657122 Warning, you may need to drill, ream, file... the hole for the bowden tube to get a nice slide fit. Don't make the hole too big where the tube just falls through. There has to be a little bit of resistance to negate the force of the flexing bowden tube above it. As always, supports on. And if tabs break after the print, layer adhesion is incorrect, adjust temperature settings. 2020-12-09, Notes from some of the comments received: If tabs end up breaking you may want to increase temperature and adjust setting for better layer adhesion. This part was originally printed with the Creality sample PLA and came out very solid. Dimensions of the stepper motor cover are 46.4mm x 51.4mm x 36mm height. Walls are 2mm thick. You can use these numbers to check your printer accuracy. The Creality CR-6 SE print head cable installation is a bad design. The connector on the print head should a least be at 90 degrees allowing for a more natural flex motion in the ribbon cable as the carriage travels left to right. Also it adds additional strain on the bowden tube and sensitive ABL sensor and if you do tall prints it's even worse as it fouls against the top frame. 2020-11-15: Original post It's not a question if the cable and/or connector will fail but when. None of the cable supports or strain relief found so far actually position the cable in the correct orientation so I made my own and rerouted to the front of the machine to avoid the top frame for tall prints (only the bowden tube will rub, the lesser evil). The ribbon is long enough & rigid enough to support itself. One twist from the connector to the support on the carriage and a cover that slide over end-stop/stepper drive that serves as the second support. The cable now flexes a lot less at a single point and in the normal way a ribbon cable should flex. The attachement to the print head carriage was inspired by this thing 4610317
