The cable for the heated bed on my CR-6 SE was catching on a corner of the Z-stepper motor. When the bed moved forward, the cable would get caught on the edge of the motor and scuff. This bumper slides over the Z-stepper motor. It provides a seamless edge for the cable to slide against, while also softening the angle at the corner (due to the cone shape). Since adding this bumper, I haven't noticed any more scuffs in my cable. **Update | April 30, 2022** I replaced the plastic spacers under my CR-6 SE's bed with silicone mounts. As a result, the bed sits slightly lower and has started rubbing against the cable bumper. To fix this, I've flattened the top of the bumper so that it only rises 1mm above the motor and provides maximum clearance.
