Creality Dual Drive Extruder Direct Drive Adapter Bracket

So I was excited to convert my Ender 5 to direct drive, and with the added benefit of the newer Creality dual drive extruder design. It's no Bondtech or Titan, but it also isn't a hundred bucks! And plenty of folks say there is a goodly amount of torque on it. I grabbed a direct drive kit off the internet, and was getting ready to kitbash it with the dual geared extruder...but realized the bracket the kit comes with was made for the 'MK8' Creality extruder design (metal and plastic). Doing some measurements, it seems like the filament in-gress/ out-gress of this kit's design can be completely preserved with the right sized bracket - so that is what I set out to make! Also, between the MK8 extruder design and Creality's dual geared extruder - it seems they have the filament path exactly the same in both extruders (relative distance left to right, and dimensionally the same from the bottom of the extruder frame), despite the fact that the dual geared design is almost twice as tall. I took a digital caliper to the dual geared extruder I received and did my best measuring and modeling to get the bracket just right - the extruder base I made is uploaded for reference purposes only. I'll let everyone know how it prints and assembles! NEWEST UPDATE: 20 DEC 2019 - Printed it and it fits great! But the holes were too small for M3 bolts, and I re-worked the clearance needed for the M4 nut that holds the extruder spring in place. Really happy with how the body face fit against the extruder frame, though! Those dimensions were right on. ^^
