Caps and covers that snap into place become stationary obstacles for the Y-axis buildplate. This cover ---- TILTS & MOVES ---- so the buildplate can shuttle COMPLETELY forwards without causing a hardware error. After moving out of the way the cover springs back into its original position. "Look Ma, no more crashes." *** UPDATE *** New, better version 6F has beveled nose and is easier fitting. WARNING: The supports are practically impossible to remove without damaging the printed part. I had good luck printing WITHOUT supports and "cleaning" the stringy mess. Here's a TIP --- I cut card stock into pieces and layered them using a glue stick to manufacture my own supports. I used a failed print as a template to measure my support. It has to be EXACT. At layer 24 I inserted my cardboard support and the print completed normally. My card stock has a finish that won't bond with the filament. The card stock peeled away from the plastic leaving the part intact. Anyways, that's what worked for me. Good Luck with your build.
