Complete redesign, but I used these great examples for reference. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3479330 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4827805 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4425394 My version requires no zip ties or other hardware. Simply remove the two outboard screws on each Z-Axis support column, snap the support in place and reinstall those same screws, which now thread into the top of the support. (Yes, the part has modeled threads, which some may realize causes thread misalignment depending on the thread start and end points of the factory bed support bracket and the thread in the 3D printed support. But it will either match perfectly (low chance) or act as a thread locking device, which is advantageous.) Native Fusion 360 file for those that may want to modify it is included. Works for Ender 5 Pro as well, which is what my printer is. PROOF OF FUNCTIONALITY: Without supports installed, 900g was placed in the center of the build plate, and the farthest edge of the build plate away from the Z-axis columns deflected 0.90mm. With them installed, the deflection was reduced by 50% to just 0.45mm. A definite improvement. Could it better? Possibly, but if you need better, then I'd recommend modifying the entire printer to a 4 point Z-axis movement. This is a simple and low cost improvement. (Don't forget to re-level your bed after installation.)
