This thing is essentially a documentary of my work towards achieving a stable, level, repeatable bed on an Ender 7 without adding additional leadscrews or other motion drive parts, outside of some linear rails and hardware. *Through much experimentation, I found that adding linear rails to this design only works well if the rails are very near to the leadscrew. Any attempts at adding rails to the front portion of the bed results in random sticking and poor consistency, even after rigorous alignment (numerous times over). This defeats the mission of wanting to avoid adding additional leadscrew(s) to the machine* This is a z-axis linear rail conversion mount for the Creality Ender 7 3D printer. It was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5248998 along with another solution posted on the Ender 7 Facebook group. This upgrade will increase z-axis stability and repeatability There are two major designs of these parts. One is V1/V2 the other is V3. It is highly recommended to use V3 since it provides the best support for the print bed as the original roller brackets and rear rollers are utilized. V3 also uses fewer additional pieces of hardware. V4 and V5 are a work in progress for mounting rails to the left and right of the bed. Just mirror LH to make RH. **I know this has taken on a life of its own. The latest I have been using is being referred to as V6... which is probably actually V20 in reality. Using V2 in the rear and V6 in the front has proven to be the best and possibly easiest, depending on your abilities, solution thus far as it reuses the factory rollers brackets to provide support for the front portion of the bed.**
