I recommend holding off on printing for a couple of days if you plan to upgrade to the improved v2, which will be released over the weekend of January 11th and 12th. I encountered heat creep issues while using the heavy-duty e3d v6 mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2494642) when running at high temperatures for several hours. The problem arose because the air meant to cool the heatsink got trapped between the x-carriage and the heatsink mount. To resolve this, I remixed the mount with the heatsink fan on the side. This change required moving the part cooling fan to the front, so it wouldn't block the air again. To accommodate this, the new mount features three mounting lines that are compatible with the original model. Using the thing at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2775921 makes it possible to use the stock part cooler.
