A fragment of a pot reveals its intricate network of crevices. Archaeologist Caroline Jeffra crafted this original vessel using the wheel-coiling method, as explained by Roux-Courty in her 1998 study, shown below. Technical Details: The pot was scanned using the David SLS-3 scanner. A portion of the scan containing the relevant crevices was isolated with 3D modeling software Maxon Cinema4D, enlarged three times, and exported as an STL file.
