Crimson Skies plans collection

These are the 14 planes of the basic box of Crimson Skies (plus two additional birds) sized to be used with the old FASA's Crimson Skies boardgame. Creating Crimson Skies plans for 3D printing is something that no-one has done previously. And it is a shame as the plans are pretty iconic and after many years from it discreet publishing in 1998, FASA's Crimson Skies still has a lot of fans who play or are willing to play from time to time. I started this for testing the VR modelling tool Gravity Sketch, and I found that work flow is so quick that a new plane can be created from zero in almost an hour. First I made the Fury (the one I like most), and the results for it and the Peacemaker were so good that I finally completed the full series (basic box plus the Balmoral). It is not designed to be printer friendly, but it is coming out perfect with resin printers and reasonably good in FDM (I suggest to print them vertically with supports growing from the tail). You can get the models for free at Thingiverse, but if you want to show some love or want them all at once, you can buy them here too ;)
