Crock Pot Fan Mount for Vapor Smoothing

Crock Pot Fan Mount for Vapor Smoothing

Purchased a cheap $10 crock pot to use for vapor smoothing ABS prints and wanted to be able to circulate the air/vapor inside to ensure even coverage of the model. Designed this fan mount for a 30mm fan to fit in the existing grommet on the crock pot lid. Design allows for tilt and rotation, wires feed through the shaft of the mount. Works like a charm. Assuming you're using acetone to smooth ABS it should go without saying but print this in something else (I did PLA) so it doesn't get dissolved itself. Slow cooker I'm using is a Hamilton Beach 3 quart model currently on clearance at Best Buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hamilton-beach-3-quart-slow-cooker/2926342.p?id=1219083561841&skuId=2926342 - I bought it through their eBay store and it shipped free. No affiliation. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .200 Infill: 15% Post-Printing Screw the fan into the carrier, feed the wires through the hole in the mount and snap the two pieces of the mount together.
