Crosley Radio Knob

Crosley Radio Knob

thingiverse

This is a knob that I made in fusion 360 to replace one missing from my father's Crosley CR-9 Select-o-matic (an AM/FM/Cassette player styled to look like those mid twentieth century tabletop jukeboxes that you'll see at Johnny Rockets and similar places). The photo shows one of the originals that I used for measurements, and the resulting print. I've made a small change since the photo, to fillet the edges of the knob and the ridges a little. The original is chromed plastic, so matching with a filament would've been quite difficult and we cared more about functionality. Print Settings Printer: Maker Select v2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 100 Notes: I printed it with 100% infill and 0.1 mm layer height, using eSun orange PLA+, as that's what I had in the printer. Print with the knob upward for surface quality. Support will be needed for the overhang and a raft or brim will likely be needed to hold the part in position.
