Cross Country Ski Holder

Cross Country Ski Holder

I wanted to clean up my storage in my house and decided that my skis needed to be on the wall instead of leaning up against something (and falling over frequently). I made these brackets to go over a section of the ski that is 1/2" or thinner. If you ski is over 68mm in width, it probably won't be able to slide into the bottom bracket without hitting the bottom of the top bracket. I printed these in Polymaker Polylight PLA with 40% infill, 6 top and bottom layers and 4 outer layers. Print these laying down on the print bed as it lays in the STL file. Add supports to support the overhangs. Use standard drywall or wood screws to secure it to the wall. I've also included a 12.7mm stand off block that you can mount between the bracket and the wall if you want your skis to staff off the wall a bit.
