Crosscut Sled for Table Saw

Here is another table saw project it is my crosscut sled for my basement workshop. I built it first and modeled it later. It performs well although it is substantially large and heavy to lift on and off the saw, once in place it moves effortlessly. Again it uses MDF because I got it free and it has a very low friction for sliding making it easy to push and pull and allowing you to concentrate on your cut not on the force. It has a movable stop block made with a homemade sheet metal bracket. welded nut and knob. I thought about attaching a tape measure piece from a broken tape measure, but I haven't broken one yet. Notice the slider construction. It is made to fit the track snugly by using adjusting screws to push the track sides outward.
