Crossfire Skids

Crossfire Skids

thingiverse

Here is a pair of skids designed for the Crossfire or Crossfire 2. They attach to the bottom plate via M3 hex screws and can be used instead of the legs integrated into the arms. I have tested it up to a three foot drop at gross weight. The legs have good flex to them and seem pretty strong. If you think this thing is cool please consider a small donation, it allows me to keep spending time adding designs. Thanks Donate Update 4/1/14: dcowan remixed the landing gear with a printed skid. It looks very slick and I suggest checking it out! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:285292 Instructions There are two files: Gear1 and Gear2. Print two of each with at least 50% infill. You will also need a 3/8th carbon fibre tube or a 3/8th inch wooden dowel. Attach the skid legs to the Bottom Plate using 3M hex screws and washers. Snap the CF tube or dowel into the skid legs and super glue in place.
