Project in nominal scale (100%) was created for 0.2 nozzle or SLA print.

There is cryptex style combination lock - there are 4 digits but only 5 values for each positions. It's too small to handle all 10 digits and I want it to be usable (I just need a case for my pen).

You have to print:

bottom:

1x Pen_Cryptex_A1,

1x Pen_Cryptex_A2,

top:

1x Pen_Cryptex_B1,

2x Pen_Cryptex_B2,

combination rings:

4x (Pen_Cryptex_C). Print rings upside-down!

Print without supports!

Print orientation - look at attached screen from slicer.

Material - I have used PLA (DevilDesign PLA Marble Dark; see photos) but it doesn't matter.

Assembling:

glue Pen_Cryptex_A1 with Pen_Cryptex_A2; notice that inside there are small tabs!

glue Pen_Cryptex_B1 with both Pen_Cryptex_B2.

next you can put on combination rings (in the same way you can change combination).

That's all. Look for images - there is simple assembling scheme.

Lock works correctly only when there is pen inside. If you want to use it with something other, there have to be cylinder with size of pen (especially diameter).

Kaweco Liliput has 96.8mm length (both ends are rounded) and diameter 9.9mm.
