You might remember these dice from Reddit, where I posted them a while ago on [/r/DnD](https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/7dl7i3/oc_ive_been_designing_some_new_styles_of_tabletop/) and [/r/3Dprinting](https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/7cer5z/ive_been_designing_some_new_styles_of_tabletop/). They have their numbers now! I was inspired by [real-life crystals](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Quartz#/media/File:Quartz_oisan.jpg) and [long dice](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_dice) used by ancient Chinese, Egyptian and Inca cultures. I designed these models to be used as blanks to eventually be cast in resin, so they look like real crystals, you can see my experiments in the image album. I still want to make some improvements to these, but I figured I'd I'll release them in their current state for anyone who wants them now. #Fairness All these dice are modeled to be mathematically fair, each side has the same probability of being landed on, and I've balanced out the numbers so they're evenly distributed around the roll. That said, your printer settings and how well you're dialed in may make them not fair. To test fairness: float these prints in water, if a face repeatedly comes up your dice isn't fair and you may need to dial in your printer. #Rolling These are designed to be rolled from one's palm off their fingers onto a surface. They roll really well (even the smallest dice has the same angles as a normal D6). #If Printing in FDM Print the D4,6,8 with 0% infill and you should be able to use them as-is. Use the split D10 to eliminate support. This D10 will always be unfair if printing in FDM due to the split up model and subsequent weight differences between the points. *I highly recommend casting these dice in resin if you wish to use them after printing in FDM.* #If Printing in Resin You should be fine to print all of these dice as is (use the whole D10, not split). And they should be fair straight from your printer (after removing support) ###If you like these dice, please consider sending me a tip. :) and if you print them, please post a make, I love to see other people's creations! <3 Billie
