As I wanted a removable battery driven crystal light with an integrated switch, I redesigned the bottom half to fit my needs. (Original: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2461569 )

The base of the crystal is designed specifically for the following parts:

Battery holder https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B0823WK4CN/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o04\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Power switch https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B007QAJLDE/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o05\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You will also need the following:

5mm LED

Soldering iron and some solder

CR2032 battery

short wire (2.5cm) Assembly should be obvious from the pictures.

The two random holes in the bottom of the threaded insert can be used to rotate the threaded insert with a screw driver for example, if your printing tolerances are a little tight.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3 Pro

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

20% in bottom part, 0% for the crystal

Filament:

PolyTerra PLA Black

UniCoFil PLA "Rauchquarzblau"

Notes:

Print the lower part with about 20% infill (10% should be fine as well) and support.

The upper part needs to be printed without infill or support. In Cura you can use support blocker and per model settings for this.

I tested the crystal part with semi-transparent filament and 2 perimeters, and it came out pretty nice. For non transparent filament I think 2 walls are too thick for the LED already.
