Designed specifically to replace wingnuts used for leveling build plates, these replacements were crafted with care. Brass inserts, measuring 3mm in thickness and secured using a soldering iron, provide the necessary foundation. For acquisition of the brass inserts, a simple search on eBay under "1GNL8 Ultrasonic Insert, M3x0.50mm, Taper, PK 100" yields multiple results. Although intended primarily for Replicator clones, these replacements are likely to be compatible with various other printer models as well. Utilizing 100% infill during printing process allowed for the creation of parts featuring a unique texture ideal for positioning under build plates without slipping. Due to their complex design consisting of many individual teeth, however, prolonged printing times were inevitable but necessary to achieve optimal results.
