CTC / Flashforge / Makerbot PLA cooling fan duct v1.0

thingiverse

This is a remix of 3 different projects on thingiverse. (Note this thing is still in work and untested) From RotoScan i used the mount to the x carriage. From Lemth i used the well designed fan duct. From Welhelnn i used the fan mount. From myself i used to modificate all together and build a small case with will manage to guide the air to both sides at same level. I can only mount this kind of cooling devoce because i used to us 40x40x20mm fan for the dual head. The normal version from Lemth i could not mount because the fans go beyond the x carriage. This thing in my case in only mountable when i remove the fans or the E3D holder before. Please give me a comment what you thing about my little remix and if you have a sugestion what i can make better feel free to help :-) Add Version 1.1 with build in support and 4mm more space to hotend. Add Verion 1.2. looks a bit like on steroids but make it much stronger and more reliable Print Settings Printer: CTC Bizer Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0,15 Infill: 25% Notes: I recommend at least enough bottem and top layers to get 1mm material. Printed at 240° with 105° on bed in ABS. For Print speed i recommend as low as your printer need to print without gaps ;-) Post-Printing You need to drill the holes for a M3 thread by yourself. Many fans are a bit different so i decided to not place the holes inside from beginning. You also have to remove the support material at the fan mount.
