This mod works perfectly with the MKS base bouden platform: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2756863. You'll need 2 M3 screws (33mm), 4 hexnuts, 2 clamping rings, 2 square nuts and a single axial 40mm fan to get it up and running. I've been using this design for two months now and while it's not ideal, it gets the job done.
