CTC Switch Box for KCD11 switches
thingiverse
I required a switch box to control an extruder fan and LED lighting. I possessed a stash of small KCD11 SPST switches KCD11 at home, which led me to discover a thoughtfully designed box by softwarebaer on Thingiverse ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1080129 ). However, the switches he used for his project were larger than my available KCD11 switches, so I decided to redesign a new box to accommodate mine. This switch box is specifically intended to be mounted in the lower right corner of a CTC Bizer (Dual) made from 5.5mm wooden panels. Its design allows it to be compatible with any other printer brand utilizing the same type of construction. Feel free to customize the box to suit your needs using Tinkercad (https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hfamkEVPUtx). Printing Settings: Rafts: - Not Required Supports: - Not Needed Resolution: - 0.1mm Infill: - 20% to 50% Notes: I printed this design with PLA, using its flat long side and rotating the letters upside down. Be cautious when bridging the floors of the switch cavities as it may lead to printing difficulties. Using supports is not recommended unless absolutely necessary, as cleaning the cavities can be challenging.
