Knife for Cub Scout Bear Whittling Chip soap carving projects. Can also be used on a sanding block to teach/practice knife sharpening. 1 mm blade edge, rounded tip for safety. Blade length approx 3 3/8". Handle is sized for an 8 yr old. Great for earning Whittling Chip as a den, when some scouts/families may not have the means to purchase or be completely comfortable with a steel blade. About $0.70 plastic but stronger than a plastic utensil, and a nice trophy for the scout's achievement. Scouts can make sheaths from cardboard and duct tape.
