Major props go out to MajorOCD for this incredibly useful modification. It worked pretty well on the second extruder, but securing it on the first one was a challenge. The clips seemed just a little too short in both cases. I'm not sure if that's an issue with my setup, a printer defect, or if the model didn't account for that tiny 1/10 inch "bump" around the gearing. Printing in PLA left me with very little wiggle room, so I had to stretch both clips by about 3mm to overcome that bump and secure the rest of the modification.
