Cube Decomposition Trophy
thingiverse
This is a Three-Piece Cube Decomposition Model designed to transform from a cube into an impressive trophy for any competitive event. Initially created for the University of Georgia's Annual High School Math Tournament, this model was awarded to top-performing teams and participants as a recognition of their academic excellence. For more information on my projects, please visit my website for further details. **Instructions** To achieve a visually appealing trophy, I strongly recommend printing the middle section in a contrasting color to the sides. The striking visual contrast greatly enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the trophy. Pre-drilled holes within the model enable the use of D6x1mm magnets (6mm diameter and 1mm height), which can be purchased online at specialized retailers. Gorilla glue effectively secures these magnets to the plastic material. Lastly, print two triangular shapes from paper to an appropriate size and apply glue to their surfaces before attaching them to the corresponding faces of the trophy.
