Cube in Sphere 2016 edition

Cube in Sphere 2016 edition

Tired of the umpteenth remake of the sphere-in-a-cube? Here is the original cube-in-sphere as designed by clintkc, polished up, rotated to be more printable, and with new supports that should make it slightly less difficult to print and easier to remove without too many visible marks. I re-made the model from scratch using the original dimensions, to ensure a much smoother mesh. As with the original, the corners of the cube coincide with the shell of the sphere, had it been complete. Next to looking cool, this is a very good test to check whether your bed adhesion and overhang printing performance are up to snuff. You can simply leave the supports attached to display it as such, or remove them with an xacto knife or the like. A version without supports is also provided for the adventurous.
