UPDATE 31-Jan-2017: Updated the lamp cover to make it at little bit more sturdy, by increasing edge thickness - this provided a more form stable print, whereas i had i bit of buckling in the material with the previous design. The Top has likewise been thickened to 1.2mm (from 0.8). This helps the cube support a load, if something is put on top. Lastly the snap on fitting has been widened and trimmed, so it's shadow is not as obvious. I could not find any good design that would allow for a E27 socket, so i designed this. The geometry is made to fix Ø41mm outer geometry. Its 15 cm on each side and 25 cm tall. The cover is quite thin (0.8mm) and somewhat fragile, however the base is sturdy, and contains geometry to hold an E27 socket. I used a socket from Ikea, and am currently using a LIFX smart bulb (Check them out, they are really nice). Run the wire through the hole. I recommend only using LED light bulb, since there is no ventilation, and heat could be a concern with normal filament lightbulbs. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES DONE USING THE DESIGN - BE SMART WHEN WORKING WITH HIGH VOLTAGE. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10-25%
