My cubesat design is inspired by honeycomb structure, a hexagonal structure uses the least material to create a lattice of walls within a given volume, with each wall of the closed ends being shared by opposing cells. Material: strong plastic available for 3D printing i.e. ABS or Nylon. The single cubesat consists of 2 parts: end (with or without solar panel) and middle part. The 3U, 6U and 12U consists of 3 parts: end (with or without solar panel), middle and end-end part. The 6U and 12U also requires nut and flat head bolt taking the part count to 5. The 3U cubesat assembly can be build without nuts and bolts, the 6U and 12U assembly requires the use of nuts and bolts to join the 4 of 3U, or 3 of 4U together. They are bolted together through middle section of the cubesat, hexagonal alignment for each bolt is there for the ease of assembly. The end, middle and end-end parts are joined using snap fit design in hexagonal shape. Inside each cubesat there are 5 slots for motherboards (9cm by 9cm).
