printed upside down. Cup holder that hangs off the right hand side of the center console. It clips in when you leave the door that covers the cigarette lighter open. The SCAD file has a series of variables that allow you to adjust it to the cup you typically use. In my case it is set for a Yeti 20 OZ tumbler. Variables you would typically change are: c_ring_radius = 43.5; // inside radius of the cup ring c_ring_lift = 88; // height of the ring above the bottom of the cup c_cup_angle = 3; // angle incline of the main cup At the bottom there are two display options. One is to display the whole cupholder in one piece, the other is the same cupholder broken down in three parts to make it easier to print. If you want to see the complete cupholder in openSCAD you uncomment mod_complete(); If you want to see the separated printable parts in openSCAD uncomment mod_parts(); I also uploaded the two STL versions (one complete and one in parts) for non openSCAD users. When you print in parts you will need a good glue to glue the three parts together. Printing in parts avoids needing (lots of) support structure. The version 3 of this design has a slightly different ring (now has lips) and the ring is positioned higher to make the connection with the hook/bridge stronger. You can open the OpenSCAD file to see how it neatly splits up in three interlocking parts. I then learned however that the printer prints slightly larger so the interlocking parts don't slide into each other. So in the end I decided to actually print the cup holder in a single piece, upside down and that worked out great. This version 3 also takes a long time rendering in OpenSCAD. So I leave the version 2 and version 3 posted but if you just want to print it, take the version 3 upside down STL file, it worked great for me.
