The original is a nice simple design with a good USB type c mount. I redesigned it to take a right angle USB cable as I have these to fit in other cars. I slightly extended the mount upward to fit my cup holders more securely and I closed the jaw angle (to parallel) to get a good grip on a gel cased 70mm wide phone (Moto G7 or Samsung A51)
