The original design by Non-ICE worked perfectly, but I did not want to drill in my new cupboards, so made a remix that attaches to standard american 2-screw handles (1/8 screws spaced 3" apart) installed on the door so that the the the screw closest to the edge is ca 1" from it, although the design is adjustable and allow for some deviation.
