CurrentCost ESP12E circuitry box (CC128, EnviR)

cults3d

This is a box (and support) to store an ESP12-e stripboard and minimal power circuitry attached to a CurrentCost energy meter. The box has two internal rails, one on each side, so the stripboard slides beneath them and don't rattle. The lid is just a horizontal rectangular plate with a slot to open and a slight protrusion at the bottom to make opening slightly difficult. It has 6 small openings for the electronics to breathe although it almost doesn’t heat. These also allows us to see the led flashing whenever a communication from the energy sensor is received by the ESP12. The code is highly based on the shared project form DontNetDann, here.
