This design adds locking tabs to prevent a rubber Curt 1.25" trailer hitch tube cover from working its way out over time. I'd suggest PETG rather than PLA for its higher temperature resistance, and printing with 100% infill makes drilling holes for the attachment screws easier (still only used 25 grams of material, including supports). Two #6 flat head wood screws hold fine, and the rubber cover is flexible enough to not require countersinking. A step version is included to facilitate customization.
