<p>Curtain rod (adjustable length) with a magnetic base.<br/> Pause the print before the top of the base is printed and insert your magnet then resume.</p> <p>Print the Rod sections horizontally with supports. You may need to lightly sand the rods to smooth out the areas where the supports were.</p> <p>I printed with PETG, 0.15 layer, 20% infill for base, 100% for rods.</p> <p>Fusion 360 file include so you can modify as needed, especially for magnets.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Had a magnetic curtain rod system for the small windows next to our front door. One of the bases dropped and broke (20 years old). Decided to design my own. Came out really nice. Now I just need to break the other 3 bases open.</p> <p>btw... why do the photos always show up in the wrong orientation on here?</p>
