Curved hood scoops for the RVjet

This is a revision of my last RVJet hood scoops. I made these with a curve to match the RVJets body lines. I also change the length and look of the actually scoop, which I got the idea for that portion from Boopidoos original hood scoops. Thanks Boopidoo. These are a little harder to print as they have multiple curves. I have printed them in all different directions, the best I printed was using the split versions that are standing upright, then glueing them together. If you print them laying flat you will need supports and the top of it will have a bunch of edges that do not do them any justices. I made this revision to work with my air/speed brake design for the RVjet. I designed these ones to work with only 1 screw holding the back down instead of 2 like my previous scoops. The mounts are also thinner, so you do not need to remove as much foam as the last version. Also you will need to tap the rear mount for what ever screw you are going to use. make the mounts solid when you print them. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Press Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 15 -25 % Notes: Depending on which position and which file you print you may or may not need rafts and supports. Make the mounts solid when printing them and then tap the rear mount to match whatever screw you will be using.
