Custom 47mm Fan (SEPA HY60N)

<p>This is a custom fan for the Octopus stepper cooler by ZZP8202 <a href="https://bit.ly/3Ao8Xun">found here</a>. I didn't want to wait (or pay for that matter) for the one suggested in the link since I have a couple 24v fans laying around.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Note: </strong>The fan does not need to be taken apart completely. I did this initially and it was a pain to get it spinning properly even though I was meticulous in disassembly. RIP dear fan.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.amazon.com/WINSINN-Brushless-Cooling-Graphics-Motherboard/dp/B07GXD6JKS?th=1">50x10 Box fan</a> (Their 50x15 variant, or blower fan might be better but I haven't tested it)</li><li>3 M.2mm 8mm self tapping screws and washers</li><li>Printed Fan Face</li><li>Printed Fan Back Plate</li></ul><p><br>======================================================================<br><br>To build:<br><br>- The blades/body of the fan were removed leaving the center piece intact. This allows for it to spin with no issue.&nbsp;<br><br>- Make sure the wiring is soldered on strong. The wires have a tendency to break at the solder point if that is not the case.<br><br>- The center piece was sanded so that the printed piece fits nicely over it when assembled.<br><br>- To keep the pieces put together, use a very small drop of high temp epoxy in a couple areas to affix the fan and back plate.&nbsp;<br><br>- Should the pieces need removal for whatever reason, this is why you should only use a small amount. Hot glue may melt during operation so I didn't bother with it.<br><br><br>I may experiment with some different types of fan blades and post them here at some point.<br>&nbsp;</p>
