Here are four custom shells I have designed for the old Buzzbee blasters, such as the Double Shot & Rapid Fire Tek. They are directly compatible with the blasters and require no mods to the blasters to use them. Although on a modded blaster, the results can be even better!
Stock Buzzbee shells have much to be desired and aren't good with anything other than the old Buzzbee suction darts (even then they're not great).
Super X shell - Direct replacement to the stock shell, but redesigned to be as good as a brassed stock shell that can fire full or half length darts, so a significant improvement in performance and compatibility.
Ol' Smokey - A long nose version of the Super X shell. Has the advantage of giving a longer effective barrel length and also shrouds all but the dart head, which means that carrying around loads of pre-loaded shells in a bag, or pocket and having the dart get caught when pulling them out during reloads. Best performance gain for streamline darts, especially in modded blasters.
Crazy Horse - Direct replacement to the stock shell, but redesigned for Boomco darts. Performance is about as good as a Boomco Farshot blaster.
Wild Bill - A long nose version of the Crazy Horse shell. Has the advantage of giving a longer effective barrel length and also shrouds all but the dart head, which means that carrying around loads of pre-loaded shells in a bag, or pocket and having the dart get caught when pulling them out during reloads. Best performance gain for Boomco darts, especially in modded blasters.
I personally recommend printing with TPU to make really rugged shells.
Its really important you have your printer hole tolerance dialled in accurately, as it is crucial to good dart fit. To loose, or too tight and performance can be badly affected.
Have fun, play safe & wear eye pro!
