I took inspiration from a great project by @BitSplits and added my own tweaks and twists. This video shows my full build process of integrating a Floppy Emu by Big Mess of Wires into an Apple Disk ][ I bought off eBay "for parts". The changes I made to Luca's design were to add an extension of the SD card into the faceplate so the SD card would be accessible from the front.
