Custom Lulzbot Taz 5 Ramps 1.4 Enclosure

thingiverse

This is an RAMPS 1.4 enclosure for the Lulzbot Taz 5. I made this enclosure when I built my Taz 5 and didn't want to purchase a RUMBA board that is normally in the Taz 5. I modified a Ramps board to use 24v rather than 12v and created custom firmware. The enclosure uses cable glands for the cables exiting the enclosure, has holes for power switch, panel mounted USB and panel mounted AFC Blade fuse. Uses a 40mm fan for cooling and is mounted on the lid for positive pressure cooling. You can choose your favorite fan guards for both input and output cooling ports. Enclosure includes stand offs for the Arduino Mega 2650 and bed relay PCB that makerfarm sells. Additional materials Needed: threaded inserts for lid mounts cable glands power switch AFC panel mount fuse holder panel mount USB 40mm Fan and mounting screws 2 40mm fan guards T nuts and screws for mounting screws for mounting PCB board.
